Bear print going the same direction we are headed!
We were in Grizzly/ Black Bear country and we were crossing a river using a boat no motor and a guide rope to pull ourselves across in the boat. The river was glacial, very cold. Of course there were tracks heading in the same direction we were. My hand print beside the bear print was much smoother so we figured the track was a few hours earlier, this eased our minds a bit. What we did end up running into was a rutting moose. Needless to say we left the area.
