Aviva community fund campaign #15291
I spent the last three months volunteering my time to the Aviva Community Fund Campaign #15291 Trailrider for less mobile. I went through 3 qualification rounds before the idea was eliminated due to not enough votes. I believe between Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, and my multiple sclerosis network we did well. I had three articles written by Barb at Salmon Arm Observer, and GlobalTV BC did an awesome clip, as well we got the attention of the Shuswap trail alliance who sent a mass email to educate and get supporters. The Shuswap Striders and local Multiple Sclerosis Society were excellent as well in supporting. A wonderful lady I met on the trails, family and friends rallied around the campaign.
